Graphic Facilitation...What is it?
Graphic Facilitation is illustrating the content of a talk, and done on the spot in real time while the speaker is speaking.
Magic happens in the room as both left and right sides of the listener's brains are engaged, allowing creativity to blossom
and retention of information is greatly enhanced. Speakers benefit as well, as in the case of Brian Jaudon's workshop:
"In a way, it took a little bit of weight off me, because [the workshop participants] could
interact with the visual as well as with what I was speaking."
–Brian Jaudon, Gifts Workshop Leader
Here is a time lapse video of Breah Livolsi Parker's graphic recording
in progress at the Carolina Connect Conference 2010:

from Robert Klein on Vimeo.
Breah has created graphic recordings for conferences, keynote speakers, seminars, workshops, and individuals,
including author/teacher Marianne Williamson.
"You captured everything I said!" – Marianne Williamson (when viewing finished piece at INATS, Denver, June 2010)
The value of the graphic recording goes on long after the talk. The recording Breah created for the HUB conference now hangs in Asheville City Hall "for inspiration"! The 3 recordings from the Carolina Connect conference hang in the boardroom of Advantage West where people who were not at the conference who see them are able to easily know the content of each talk and are inspired to discussion.
"I couldn’t wait to get these [online]. In case you didn’t attend the 2010 Carolina Connect
entrepreneur and finance conference yesterday, Breah Livolsi Parker from blipstudio.com
did an amazing job drawing each of the keynote presentations in real time!"
- Pam Lewis, Sr. Vice President Entrepreneurial Development, AdvantageWest Economic Development Group
